The new single "Ghost Seeds" from the UK's Raze the Altar blends these things together into an aggressive, yet cohesive, industrial metal hybrid. The electronics bounce relentlessly, while the project's mastermind , Dylan, unleashes absolute hell on the microphone with powerful guttural screams that, unlike most in the core-styled genres, maintains annunciation. Raze the Altar has several singles out, a full length, and has even appeared on a Slipknot cover album with several heavy hitters from the deathcore scene. "Ghost Seeds" infectious energy will definitely leave you craving more, and it has yet to leave my regular song rotation.
