Mea Fisher, formerly of Lords Of Acid, is back in the creative fold with her brand new project, Me And My Nightmare. And she is back with Hell on her heels! Dropping a monster of a new single, "Devil Inside", featuring her partner in audio crime, En Esch, Me And My Nightmare are poised to take no prisoners in the industrial/electronica scene. Heavy guitars riff and chug, similar to "Guilty" by Gravity Kills, while the electronics pulse and undulate, intertwining with the absolute punishment coming from the rhythm section, evoking the best of 90's era industrial/metal hybrid bands a la Stabbing Westward and company. Mea's vocals purr and snarl, bringing both seduction and a ferociousness while maintaining a melodic hook that will sink right into your eardrums. En Esch provides his vocals to the chorus in his signature shout that will make you want to stomp the dancefloor into dust. The accompanying music video is a fever dream with flashing colors, and homages to the various influences that made the song so great. If this is but a taste of what is to come, we are here ravenous for more. Me And My Nightmare are absolutely a project to keep an eye on, as it seems the best is well on its way.
