Palindrones, "Coma Berenices (SLOWED+REVERB)" Single Review

Ethereal, dreamlike production is masterfully juxtaposed by danceable electronics on Palindrones newest single, "Coma Berenices (SLOWED+REVERB)". Hailing from SE London, the electronic duo craft incredible soundscapes of lush and airy melodies in a perfect formula that can only be described as dreampop/shoegaze meets EBM. Imagine, if you will, Tearwave having a musical lovechild with Paul Oakenfold and raising it on the best of Enya. While the compositions swirl, the electronic beat and bass lull you into a dreamy trance, accompanied by beautifully soaring vocals to round out the somnambulant experience. Palindrones have created a single that will easily find itself on repeat, as each listen reveals a new depth undiscovered previously. "Coma Berenices (SLOWED+REVERB)" is so brilliant and beautiful, that, even so early in the year, it is likely to be a contender for Single of the Year.
