Best of 2023, Best Late Release: House of Harm, "Playground"

3 long years have passed since the release of "Vicious Pastimes", and House of Harm most definitely used that time to craft a worthy follow up. They began teasing us in 2022, with the release of the two singles, "Feel My Heart Beat" and "In Threes", which do not appear on "Playground". The two singles brought us a taste of what was to come, leaving us hungry for a new full length. Dropping in December, "Playground" is full of all the elements that we love about House of Harm. Compelling melodies, atmospheric synths, and singer Michael Rocheford's signature croon. Proving that it was well worth the wait and teasing, "Playground" deserves its place in the Best of 2023.
